Though based in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Susanna has been spending more time in Mitte – after all, that’s where her studio is. Her day often starts with coffee at Distrikt, her go-to spot, before heading to the studio to prepare the magic for later. As a house DJ with regular sets at Berlin clubs like Paloma Bar and Tresor, Susanna Kim owns the night, crafting soundscapes that keep us moving until dawn. House music is her calling, with a reach that extends far beyond Berlin. Whether she’s behind the decks at NightMoves or Jupiter Disco in New York, or SX in Seoul, she knows how to energize any crowd. Her connection to Korean culture runs deep, and in March 2025, she’s channeling that passion into a special event at Paloma Bar in Kreuzberg, featuring an all-Korean lineup. And when she’s not transforming your night, you might just catch her at Hackesche Höfe Kino in Mitte. This charming cinema is one of her favorite spots for a late-night screening, sweet-and-salty popcorn included, reveling in the moment when the lights dim and the auditorium falls silent. Her post-film ritual is just as specific: no detours, no discussions — just heading straight home to savor the experience in solitude.

Ceoliacs, we can’t imagine how difficult it must be to walk into a bakery and be tempted by all the sweet treats you can’t eat. At Aera, the entire menu is gluten-free so you can try one of everything. The cardamon bun is calling your name!
There’s pizza and then there’s Pizza Napoletana. Standard does pizza how Nonna would and you can taste the difference. Whenever we’re nearby, we always stop by for a classic Margherita.
Tresor is Berlin electronic music history: its legendary vault has pulsed with techno beats since 1991. Now situated on Köpenicker Straße, the club still offers a raw, industrial space for DJs and dancers alike.
Performance meets experimentation in the historic Mitte venue of Sophiensaele. Expect daring theater, immersive dance, and offbeat cabaret—Sophiensaele is where Berlin’s performance arts thrive.
Brooklyn meets Berlin at Magic John’s, where hand-tossed crusts, zesty toppings, and a dash of irreverence collide. Grab a slice, and don’t miss the garlic knots—they are, dare we say, magic.
Charming yet unpretentious, this bistro turns simple French classics into showstoppers. Pair your steak frites with a glass from the natural wine list and let the cozy atmosphere do the rest.
A Kreuzberg institution. Paloma is the go-to for soulful house, disco vibes, and panoramic views. Small but mighty, it’s where Berlin’s night owls roam.
Brunch goals in a Scandi-chic setting. Distrikt’s sourdough toasts, creamy eggs, and heavenly coffee will make you linger—though the ricotta pancakes might just steal the show.

Forget everything you know about bakeries. Acid serves up a rebellious twist on classics, from tangy sourdough to unexpected pastries. Paired with excellent coffee, it’s an electric start to your day.
