On a solo date at the movies

Nightfall is her time to shine – catch behind the decks or taking a break at the movies

Though based in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Susanna has been spending more time in Mitte – after all, that’s where her studio is. Her day often starts with coffee at Distrikt, her go-to spot, before heading to the studio to prepare the magic for later. As a house DJ with regular sets at Berlin clubs like Paloma Bar and Tresor, Susanna Kim owns the night, crafting soundscapes that keep us moving until dawn. House music is her calling, with a reach that extends far beyond Berlin. Whether she’s behind the decks at NightMoves or Jupiter Disco in New York, or SX in Seoul, she knows how to energize any crowd. Her connection to Korean culture runs deep, and in March 2025, she’s channeling that passion into a special event at Paloma Bar in Kreuzberg, featuring an all-Korean lineup. And when she’s not transforming your night, you might just catch her at Hackesche Höfe Kino in Mitte. This charming cinema is one of her favorite spots for a late-night screening, sweet-and-salty popcorn included, reveling in the moment when the lights dim and the auditorium falls silent. Her post-film ritual is just as specific: no detours, no discussions — just heading straight home to savor the experience in solitude.
