As long as there’s popcorn, Langston Uibel is in. His preference? Half sweet, half salty — and make sure to shake the bag well. Having grown up in both London and Berlin, Langston bridges diverse cultures and narratives. The language of the film — English or German — doesn’t matter to him. For fans of original versions, the Odeon is a top choice. Fun fact: Odeon was the first cinema in Berlin to show films in their original English versions with subtitles.
If Langston isn’t watching a movie solo (as he often does), he winds down afterward with a beer — or a cranberry schorle . His top bar tips in the area? Slumberland for a laid-back vibe or Victoria Bar, if he’s in the mood for something fancier.
