WILD WEDDING TREK
Is it still a running gag that Wedding is up and coming?
Well, we’re up and running in the north and have compiled a route that feels refreshing and green. From the lovely Sprengelkiez through Goethepark and Volkspark Rehberge – this is the green way to discover Wedding. When you reach Möwensee, cross Afrikanische Straße and head towards Centre Français and further on to Schillerpark. You can detour through to Schäfersee or go straight to Kombibad, perhaps a mid route dip could be tempting? Wedding’s riverside is enticing, but no city run is complete without architectural highlights: Take a detour to Lobe Block for some Brandlhuber vibes – maybe running up the stairs for some rooftop yoga session? If you’d like to go with the flow: Get back on track at the Panke by Südpanke park, Sellerpark and Park am Nordhafen to where we began. Reward yourself with a pretzel to go from Hansis Brot or feel like the modern Berliner you are and opt for Kimchi Pancakes at Dukki and reflect on all things this Wedding has in store for you.
Longing for an elevated after-workout program? This historic cinema offers a great movie selection amid 50s/60s vibes.
A former crematorium, this venue for the arts now brings things to life. The restaurant grows its own ingredients in a rooftop garden.
This art space is just like Berlin itself: independent, international and connected. A great place to get your brain cells activated.
A meeting place for everybody who loves art, food, culture, community, ecology, gardening and yoga.
French for breakfast? Sure! Eggs, sandwiches, croque-monsieurs and wine enjoyed while looking at leafy Nettelbeckplatz.
